Going kayaking with my brother.

What else do you like to do when you’re not out paddling?

I really like hiking, doing yoga, and filming and editing videos.

What’s your best advice for other paddlers?

Have fun and take care of the rivers. We live in a society where materials things are more valuable for people than the environment.

What are your favourite bits of kit?

I love my Palm FXr just because I feel super safe and it allows me to move and be free while running hard rapids or just racing down rivers.

What is left on your list of places to go?

Oh man, so many places, but my #1 on the list is Iceland.

Describe your perfect day on the water?

Wake up, do some yoga, have a balanced breakfast, go kayaking with friends. Have burritos for lunch and then go do a sick hike with more friends. End the day with a beer or something.

What are you most looking forward to in 2018?

To keep kayaking as much as I can, keep living, keep loving life and be thankful every day for this amazing lifestyle.
