With the tide window approaching for our final and biggest challenge we were all set to cross the Channel from Alderney to Poole for Macmillan. However the weather was to turn against us! So we thought of a non weather dependant plan B, and set things in motion. The Stour is our local river, runs approximately 97 km and might be possible in one go. So with this in mind we did some planning on the back of an envelope and set off. Here it is by the numbers:
