I might have missed the boat, starting my slalom career a little late ;) But although I’m far from competitive I’m enjoying racing slalom heaps and feel fortunate to be able to walk down the slalom road, racing in this new (for me) discipline.
The Andy Duff Memorial Kaituna Challenge is held annually in the height of summer in Okere Falls. Andy Duff was a local raft guide and kayaker and the race was started by his friends after he passed away while traveling in America.
